The cleaning characteristics of Biotech and Pharma process equipment and systems are essential from the start of the design process. It is extremely important that any dead-spaces in the system can be cleaned by using Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) solutions as well as sterilized by using Sterilisation-in-Place (SIP) systems, whenever this is requested, to ensure total clean ability and avoid product cross contamination.
3V Tech uses computer-aided simulation of theoretical spray patterns during the design phase to ensure cleaning in accordance with every customer's requirements. During the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) the cleaning capability of the equipment is verified by the so called Rivoflavine test.
